I've just thought of this- the Shelby GT500 would be much better suited in GT2 than GT3- it had too much power in GT3 but now it seems good and you can upgrade the handling pretty well, I think up to 6.3 (the mustang GT can only get 5.5)

what are GT2 car guide lines? I checked the rules but i didn't see anything about GT2 cars. Am I right in assuming it will be the same as the season 3 GT cars?

yep^^ S950, all forza aero parts and you don't need full race tires

Why are Williams entered in GT3? None of us have entered in that class and nobody signed up for it? Is it an automatic thing or what? Also are you allowed to run stock tyres on a GT1 car?

We need to know GT2 class car specs. Anyone can clarify this? Nothing is found in the rules and we need confirmation to begin to test the cars completly. Thanks!

Is this in reply to me? If so im not following you. The first time i declared any interest in this series at all was last night when i chose the GT1 class and formally entered Williams into this series. So why would my entry and team be confirmed without any prior input.

No I was talking to the new guy.

Everyone from the GTC is automatically entered into GT3 to allow them to compete in their GTC challengers without modification. Therefore if the whole GTC team is not in the same class then name variants should be used, e.g Williams Engineering.......

Unless you just change the GT3 team name to something random then you can use Williams for the GT1 team

Yeah, why cant he just use Williams for the other class if Williams are not even running in GT3?

I see why the point in what ur sayin but its a completely seperate series so the team as it is in the GT series shouldn't have an impact on this unless one of us entered that class under that name. In most series people take their teams across so can i not just use the Williams team name for my GT1 entry as nobody else is running it in any other class.

Just call it Williams GT1 and you'll be fine

We want to make sure that all GTC entrants can take part without having to make any changes to their cars.

I just wanted to come over here and let everyone know that Sati is a Spanish speaking person. I am trying to make sure he understands all of the rules and such but there is this huge time difference between Spain and the west coast of the states. I will work harder! Thanks for everyone's help in this.

I can speak a fair bit of Spanish if he ever gets stuck and needs a hand.

I guess aslong as he knows the procedure for the races then all he'll need to actually say to us is his times....
failing that he can also PM his times to the Lobby captain

I don't speak a lick of spanish but can usually communicate with him. He reads English but doesn't speak it very well.

Could we perhaps ban 4WD from GT2? GT2 and GT3 generally have the same cars, and 4WD will dominate, especialy if there will be 3 of each car, leaving everyone with RWD. Plus, nobody is even doing GT3 for this.

that's what I was thinking- they dominated last year
or at least are we having rolling starts?
