3.41 , the 5% grip loss is affecting the grip on the slower corners and all the chicanes almost like a horse rejecting a jump, just about touching 180 on the straights.

Reduce the rear downforce to as low as it can go. Then run a few laps. That will save a few seconds.

I would like a few others to try the GTR with the handicaps listed above and see what times you achieve compared to your car. I don't want to over handicap the GTR, but I do not want it to be the fastest car.

Sorry, Its even worse for me, even with traction control on I cannot get even close to the laps of any of the unrestricted drivers, I'm definately not taking part.

So maybe choose a different car? Or are you finding that you're going to struggle regardless of the car?

We're only allowed to race the cars we used to take part in the Le Mans Series.

whats the spped got to do with it. my best lap is 2 seconds down on duncan and im still only averaging 3.21 or 3.22. im going to be way down on prety much everyone in the field. even jenson is faster than me round here but im going to run it cos i want to race at lemans with my car and see just how far it can go.
remember the peugeots were nearly 5 seconds a lap faster than the audis this year but who won.

I'm ten seconds a lap down on everyone in GT1, and our cars dont have engine failiures unless me shift down too early.

Dont apologise man, just practice, turn up, have fun and learn from it. I was always finishing last in my first season dude but its all about learning. The only way to do that is to race.

ADx Garage - You are not 10 seconds slower than everyone else. You are doing 3:41's with too much rear downforce. I am running 3:38's and occasionally dipping into the 3:37's with the handicaps listed above. So, you are there or thereabouts. Turn up and have some fun.

well can we make an exception for garage to run the nissan unrestricted and without any handycaps so that way he's able to race with everyone? aero and gang are really quick (i really hate to throw you guys under the bus) and really are the ones that need the restrictions but that is just me

That's not bad. Dan was doing 3:39's in the Aston, although the Aston is capable of 3.36's, so you are not far off at the moment. Maybe we could just limit you with the 10% power handicap and no handling handicap. Like I said before, I do not want to totally cripple the GTR, so maybe different builds for different drivers.

I think the reason I could only do a 3:39.xxx is because I'm not using traction control. And you guys know obviously how difficult it is to get the power down in the Aston without traction control? Problem is, I've tried using traction control and it just slows me down. Crying or Very sad

Well they have decided to give the GTR a 15% power handicap and a Maximum Pi of 908. That should even the playing field now. Cannot wait for this now. Get smoked on the straights and then try to catch up in the corners. Yo-Yo race. Should be fun. Very Happy

I cannot wait. Seriously. This is what I want. Lots of overtaking and strategy involved. The Aston can just top 200mph on the straight and we will be low 180's, so it should be exciting.

oh god its lemans classic all over again i was at 196 in the vette and switch was 175 i believe? (correct me if im wrong switch) and he would eat me up in the corners and would pass me just in time for the start finish line on most laps
