Although that dodgy deadzone issue needs sorted out on the straights... That floatyness shouldn't happen with a pad, and for wheel users, changing the wheel settings can fix that (hopefully..)

When I played it at PAX my main problem was the fact that I had to constantly move the wheel whilst going in a straight line just to keep it in a straight line. The guy said they had their wheel set at 90 degrees lock so it was making it over sensitive and harder to control on straights. They fixed it for the next day to 270 degrees and it was much better. Maybe he was using the default which may have been 90 degrees.
I have only seen them using a G25 or G27 and on a PS3 or PC. I hope the MS wheel works ok with it.

Increasing the deadzone would fix this, the video description says that the wheel settings used are default with a 0% deadzone.

you ever been in a race prepared car? I'm just guessing from your response it's a no. 
In race prepared cars, the gearbox is very aggressive plus has no sound proofing like you road car will.

That comparison vid just proves how bloody awful the sound is on GT5 and to be honest even the visuals are a little antiseptic.

this video shows all the camera's. Most importantly, there are THREE in-car cameras. Cockpit, Cockpit-Foward and Helmet.
