Tried it again and the game still sucks. I want to beat the incoming rush of people to trade the game in so it doesn't lose all its value. There were 9 used ones at the one Gamestop I went to today. It may go back soon

I've only had a few minutes experience with this game, and it still isn't doing it for me. Luckily I didn't spend 60 dollars of my own money (I played it at a friend's house). I recently rented the new NFS: Hot Pursuit game and I found that to be MUCH more entertaining to play.

sounds like ive saved money sticking with forza, and it doesnt sound like the gt1 championship will have many drivers in it at this rate lol

Race Pro has very good GT1 cars with plenty of Liveries, and a great track list too... just saying

I am definitely buying Shift 2 at some point, it just looks too good to miss.

I love the historic cars in Race Pro... but the Historic tracks just do it for me..

wow. Got to say "now THAT's how you do a trailer" but also "that's how you do DLC" - take note Turn 10 - relevant tracks in with the cars, and an additional carrer branch (probably a rise in the level cap too). This is a no-brainer for me. Kudos.

I wish more DLC was like this, its kinda like a little ''extra'' game in its own right on the side of the main Shift 2 deely. Much better than just throwing in a few extra cars you will never drive..

The track pack is missing Nurburgring '67 and Spa '67 though

to quote wikipedia "The banking held the last race in 1969 with the 1000 km of Monza, the event moving to the road circuit the next year." so we may get to use the banking as well, we'll just have to wait and see.

The track used in 1969 only used the South banking IIRC. After entering the back straight before the Parabolica, they turned right 90 degrees towards the Oval and turned left onto the banking, they also used a chicane at the entry to the South curve. They then went back onto the pit straight out of the south banking.

The Monza shown in the trailer also has no seperation between the two parts of the pit-straight which where at two different points in the track. They used cones for that, but in the trailer the S/F straight is just very wide.

But don't worry, Monza without the chicanes is a real good track!
