Re: Stobart Racing
Nick closes in on top FWD spot
on that sunny evening at Maple Valley, Stobart Racing were newcomers. Two new drivers and a semi-regular, nobody considered us as a threat. it came to race day, two victories and an A lobby start, the dream start to a topsy turvy campaign. Who would have thought, that 4 months and 27 rounds later, lfcnicklfc would find himself second in the championship, and the top FWD car, it hasnt been easy, but concistency with the amazing Ford Focus ST, developed by nick and partly adam in the first few rounds, got him to these heights.
Nick stands 35 points ahead of DAN 2605, and behind the champion the has already been crowned with AZTtheButcher taking a dominant championship victory for the Plow.
It's gonna be tough, but hopefully good luck will play into his hands as we return to Maple Valley, and return to the cockpit for the final time.
Its time to do what we do best one more time!
NICK FTW!!!

Chaddy to lead IOR into new season. Stobart name to return mid season
I can confirm that Chaddy will enter an IOR car as a privateer for the first few rounds of Season 3. Nicky will return in the summer, this is also when Stobart will return for a second season.

Re: Stobart Racing
Its been a helluva year!
In September of last year, chad and myself decided it was time for a bigger challenge, IOR was struggling with only two drivers turning up for the first round of the FTM and three drivers taking part in the BTCC. So we decided to come here, TORA. We entered the GT's as a past time till the touring cars, and when the touring cars came, Stobart Racing was born.
Testing was well underway by November, and team leader Nicky narrowing the car choice down to two cars, the Leon Cupra 03 and the Civic Type R 06.
lfcnicklfc Joined the team as second driver in late november, originaly with a Sentra, but later changing to a Ford Focus, as used also by third driver Adam.
The big day finaly came, rounds 1, 2 and 3. Nicky started in the A lobby after a surprising qualifying result, meanwhile nick and Adam qualified very well in the B lobby and showed the teams potential against the main FWD drivers.
Then came Suzuka, only nick would score points at this race, as Adam and Nicky both DNF'd in the B lobby.
Next came Muggelo, and a shock announcment from Adam, saying that he was leaving to create his own team with Wilksy in Works Chevrolet Cobalts shook up the team. Nicky was busy getting to grips with his new steering wheel and Nick was, as always doing very nicely up in the A lobby. Meanwhile in the B lobby. nicky was having a great battle with ck, and just lost out to an overall win in race three after making a mistake on the penultimate lap letting AJZero through into the lead, giving him his maiden win.
Road Atlanta next, with Nick, once again in the A lobby on his way to a runner up spot in the series. Nicky meanwhile started last, and had a massive crash with Chad, taking the acrobatics award!
Up next, Motegi! Nick takes a win in race 3 in the A lobby, and Nicky takes a podium in the C lobby due to not getting to grips with the tight tilke designed track. However he did enjoy a great battle with AJ zero in race 1.
Sebring next, and for only the second time this season, Nicky would start in the A lobby with Nick in the B lobby, Nick unfortunately came under the wrath of the TORA stewards for cutting the track to gain an unfair advantage. Nicky would trigger a multi car pile up in race 3 while attempting to pass Tubbiboy on his way to second.
This would be the last race for me, as my xbox broke..
Hopefully Stobart will lead the way in season 3!
