Maple Valley A Lobby in picture
Here is some of the action from races 2 and 3 of the A Lobby race
All 4WDs are good for! a nice shot with me battling with Kris in the background
Rubbin's Racin': me and CK fighting for 4th
Race 3 onboard lap 1 with tubbs as me and CK slide on the back of the SUbaru train
3 wide through turn 1
and this lovely picture sums up the whole event quite nicely...

Re: Stobart Racing
Adam Enjoyed his first races with stobart racing however in the end he was left rueing what could have been
Q:How do you feel your first race with Stobart went?
A: Well qualifying was a huge dissapointment as i believe we could have had all three cars in the top 8 however it wasnt to be. I started of well and put a good solid lap in for my first flying lap however upon pushing it on the final lap i went wide and ruined a solid lap which put me in 9th posistion for the race. A problem with Dans car caused me to be bumped up to 8th for the race which was a nice supprize and me and lfcnick were on the ball taking 8th and 9th in the first two races. However in the final race we were down in 7th and 8th and we new it would be tough to get up their again but i thought we had the pace however it just wasnt to be and i ended up 4th in the end.
Q: 4th place is still a good result though?
A: Yes and no as i believe we could have had a 1-2 in the final race which would have massively improved our points scored. Me and lfcnick had a little contact in the first turn and then upon passing ian i went of the track allowing him to get through again and maybe if that hadnt happened i could have challenged dan. Overall it was a good race however i still think there were a few more points up for grabs.
Q: In your first season of the BTCC you managed 4 podiums but never the win, When do you think the ever elusive win will come?
A: Hopefully in the next round (laughs) I dunno really though im sure its only a matter of time and thats one of the reasons why i was so fustrated in the final race as i thought it might have been my biggest opportunity but we will see as the season continues.
The team will be looking forward to Suzuka where all 3 drivers will be looking for another solid set of results and maybe the teams 1st win Also the team will be testing in Suzuka over the next 2 weeks in preperation for the next round so look back here for further updates

Re: Stobart Racing
I have been testing at Suzuka today and cant get into the 49's in my SEAT, due to this, I am experimenting with a Ford Focus, which feels very grippy, which is vital on this technical circuit. It will also help the team as we would then all have ford focus' and develop the car, stay tuned however

Re: Stobart Racing
There will be an update of the livery coming very soon, It will be different, and I promise it will look excellent Im planning to move away from the WRC replica and do something more radical. It will also see the addition of a new semi major sponsor running a small logo on the rear of the car which will influence the livery design.

Re: Stobart Racing
So Far testing has had its ups and downs for Adam's Programme at stobart racing as slight improvements are bringing the lap times down gradually with the quickest lap done so far being a 49.657 Adam believes the team needs to shave about half a second of this to be fighting for the top posistions in the race and maybe even more to grab a win however at the moment things are looking quite posistive for the team as the car atleast is showing signs of improvement

Re: Stobart Racing
The Team finally finished packing up for the night as they completed a full day of solid testing. The laptimes were promising in the end with both Adam and lfcnick managing to get down into the low 49's however both drivers felt there was still a lot to come from the ford

Re: Stobart Racing
Cant wait to get this Ford up to speed, I cant get the SEAT into the 49's, tried everything setup wise, understeers like a dog in the snake. I'll be working on some livery concepts during testing, im still deciding what to do. Cant wait for Suzuka, a thoroughly enjoyable track.
