Nicky:

Race 1: 6th (controler turned off)
Race 2: 6th (Mercialagogamma breaks my engine on the opening corner as the race resumes)
Race 3: 6th (started last cos I technicaly DNF'd, me and dan hit each other on the warm up, breaking my front splitter, causing me to go off while overtakng jenson on lap 1, contorller then turned off, xbox turned off)

Stobart Racing has quickly moved its focus from the suzuka round which provided mixed fortunes for the team to testing in mugello. Adam found the setup from suzuka was already quite well suited to the circuit which was proved via the quick lap times that were being set despite only a couple of small changes to the setup. Adam had this to say
Q:You had a rotten time in suzuka what are your thoughts on the race and qualifying?
A:Well in the first round of the championship i had trouble in quali and it appears to have hit me again in suzuka as i couldnt muster a good laptime like i had been setting in previous test sessions and then an engine problem stopped me from racing so not very well. Im especially anoyed as i think i could have atleast won the final race of the day but theres always next time
Q:How do you think the first day of testing at Mugello went?
A:Not bad we made some good progress with the car and i think we managed to get a 57:458 which is reasonably competitive and we werent that far of the the four wheel drive car of AJthebutcher.
Q:What are your thoughts on how the next race might be like for yourself and the team
A:Things are looking positive me lfcnicklfc and nicky have all made good progress today and i have been concentrating on quali runs so hopefully we can have a good race and maybe even get my first win!

Greetings to you Stobart fans... Testing at Muggelo has been going strongly, with me testing a very special new part, a force feedback wheel. So far after the second day of testing, my times have rocketed up to the mid 1 minutes and have plummeted back down to the late 58's and even a mid 58, with just under two more weks of testing, the times are expected to drop even lower as the driving style is developed for use of the wheel, I expect to go quicker once i get up to speed and mabey get back into the A Lobby for the next round after Muggelo. But im not rulling out an A Lobby start in two weeks time.

Nicky im sorry to say but i will be leaving stobart motorsport so i can make my own team good racing with you guys but i came onto this site wanting to have my own team. Good luck for the rest of the season

B Lobby win snatched away by Scuderia Martini's AJzero!

Race 1: Started 5th, ran as high as third when AJ and KRI5 crashed, made contcat with Ck, letting Mercialagogama and GaryP through, had a great race with Ck and managed to finnish 5th.

Race 2: Started 5th, had some 'touring car' racing, running as high as fourth, but a little 4 way battle at the end popped me out in 8th.

Race 3: Pole Position, messed up the start a little... sorry to those affected. Ck took the lead for 2 or 3 laps, ran wide on turn 1 giving me the lead and AJ second, I held the lead for the rest of the race, there was a mighty crash in the midfeild which took some pressure off for a few laps. On lap 9 AJ was about 40 metres behind, but, on the final corner of lap 9, i snapped and AJ just got ahead of me on the s/f straight. I tried to get back at him, but ran wide at the last section of track after taking too much speed over the kerbs. Just behind me there was another pile up involving Ck.

im launching my new 'TBR' outfit sometime next week in the SCC, i plan to carry this name into other series. Soo, on the day of the Launch of 'TBR', il also unveil the Stobart TBR cars, which will be ultimately the same as the current liveries, but carrying some new logos in places with a cleaned up design.

good weekend for Stobart at Sebring, and my first A lobby start since Mapel Valley! more on that later.

Also, Chad has started a vigorous testing programme in preparation for season 3, returning to IOR for the first time since the opening GT rounds.

I will be out with a technical problem for the next race and possibly the race after, so, the team is currently in negotiations with a replacment driver who will take my place for Laguna and Silverstone and become the third driver for the final races of the season.

You may have noticed the name change, if not, then NOTICE IT NAO!

err, for the final rounds of the championship (and when I get back), IOR will be running 2 (possibly 3) brand spanking new liveries. I can confirm at the moment who will be driving which car.

Nicky - #27 - Stobart - SEAT Leon 03
Nick - #11 - Autosport - Ford Focus ST
TBA - #TBA - DC Shoes - TBA

contingencies will include Repsol, SIMBIN, Dunlop, IRN-BRU, Monroe and IOR.

It is yet undecided wether the team will continue into season 3, so we plan to end the season with a bang.

Nick sits very nicely in second going into the next two tracks which, you might say, are strong hunting grounds for IOR, who have been testing other cars at these tracks extensively recently. Laguna Seca will be the last time you see the current Stobart livery, as Nick will be running in an unfamiliar red and white livery. And, just to stay within rules, the main design will be the same with variation in colour and sponsor for each car. Red for Nick, Green for me and Blue for the possible third driver.
