You are correct, I didn't even know about the alternating weather depending on different parts of the track, but remember this is currently the features for PC but expect it to be similar on consoles, the more I look at this its like the guys at Slightly Mad saw what we do here and went " lets build them a game"

now say theres 2 - 3 cars per team, + 64 car multiplayer + real time day night = epic enduranace races on TORA.

If each team has 3 cars thats 57 cars, which is 1 more than 56 which is what 24 hour uses in real life

GT4 and especially GT5 are not Le Mans compatible, the speed difference is too much, you would use them in a GT3,GT4,GT5 race

This is a really dumb response, but is it just me, or the grandstands look a bit modern?

Oooo! Ginetta Juniors. My friend's cousin raced those in the BTCC championship last year. They may not be the fastest but they produce some really good racing for guys around 15-17. I also like the look of that Formula Renault.

Honestly if SMS get the physics right then this game could be huge for TORA. I hope there's good camera angles too. Some of Forza's can be quite fantasy positioned (such as rotating around the car). I'm seriously looking forward to this. I'd love to actually try the alpha game now but they've stopped resgistration

They stopped registration quite a while ago. Quite annoyed as I was hesitant to buy a membership without a wheel for my PC & missed the chance

I decided to check out videos for this upcoming title. Looks quite promising from what I've seen.

I guess we'll see when the release date looms closer if future events will happen on TORA.

The potential is very exciting, however.....

It still amazes me how excited everyone's getting based solely on the looks and content. If it drives like crap, people will play it for about a fortnight at the most (just like Shift 2).

In an interview recently Andy Tudor said that the handling would be one of the last things they do before launch. In my opinion that's madness (pun intended) as a game that has awesome physics and "ok" graphics will always top an arcade handling eye-candy game for me (Shift 2 was diabolical, but looked great).

Admitedly I've not updated my pCARS build in about a month, but last time I did play, it felt EXACTLY like Shift 2's handling model. Maybe it feels better with a wheel, but I will be on a pad, and so far, unimpressed (with the handling - like everyone else I'm massively impressed by the visuals, but I'm not falling for that one again).

A turd sculpted into a Rodin, may be beautiful, but it's still a turd underneath.
