Re: TCC Meeting 4 Discussion Thread - Sunset Club Reverse - 27/09/11
Despite the connection issues, and despite the car issues, it was the track that let this meeting down, and for that I apologise. It did not lend to the close quarter racing we've had up to now, and only seperated the pack.
It was a track we wanted to try as we've never run that version competitively, and it won't be returning to the TCC calendar.

It's a pitty I wasn't able to connect to lobby A. Qualifying fourth shocked me as I didn't think the restricted Civic could get as high as that around Sunset.
But the race more than made up for the disappointment. Had some epic, clean and close racing between Simon, Chris, Duncan and Nicky. All credit to you guys, I've thoroughly enjoyed tonights meetings.
Lets hope I don't have the same issues in the last round. Well done to my team mates as well for tonights meeting. This wasn't the easiest of circumstances to handle but we can be proud of tonights result.

Defo great clean racing last night, thanks for letting me race
Re: TCC Meeting 4 Discussion Thread - Sunset Club Reverse - 27/09/11
Hey guys. Great racing last night in B lobby. In race 2 and 3 I had great last laps races with under a second with Aero in race 2 and GTR in race 3.
Just would like to say thanks to TORA for letting me race.
Thanks to eizoxian for suggesting his car for this event.
Thanks to Scot and Garry for letting me have his seat for this event and run under GPR.
With scots comments about the track, With this sort of event yes I think this could be the wrong track due to all the high speed sections and with diffenrent cars its unfair, duncan passing me in the last race there was no point fighting him as his car was super quick. With an event what runs same cars maybe at stock build it would be alot better.

I was just left puzzled last night with the connection issues and it should have been handled differently. If I had known that I had issues with someone who qualified ahead of me, then things would have been fine. Instead, it was rushed and I didn't know whether I had the issues with EZT Spartan or Plow The Butcher. Everyone else in A lobby, I've had no problems connecting with them in the past.

I'm not sure what way you have here at tora to resolve issues regarding someone not being able to connect to a lobby. I'm sure they are there somewhere, but haven't looked.
I do know that at one of the other sites that i've raced at, the way they do it would, as in dans case, get him to set up a lobby, then invite individually, one at a time, to see where the conflict lies.
Fastest qualifier stays.
Not sure if its the same here.

All a little bump for the above thread is needed all with 16 player lobbys comes worse connections time to resolve this before 2012
