Re: TORA GT24 - Rules and Regulations
After research and consultation, the Audi R8 is being bumped back up to PI700. After personal experience from a few years back, and now being on the other foot, if anyone wishes me to step out of the Audi I have no issue with that at all. At least I know now the Audi has a chance of competitive next year.
If anyone else has any feedback regarding any other car PI's being potentially incorrect, please let me know.

The Lamboghini Gallardo is too slow on the straights.

Re: TORA GT24 - Rules and Regulations
good point on the Gallardo. I thought its cornering ability would make up for it, but I will revisit it again.
The Camaro, what PI can it go upto, 690?

Re: TORA GT24 - Rules and Regulations
Right, I've done a few tests in the Lambo, running a "simulation" qually run and here are my results against my actual times from the series
Hockenheim
Nissan - 1.47.2
Lambo - 1.47.0
Sebring
Nissan - 2.09.5
Lambo - 2.11.2
Indy
Nissan - 1.31.0 (Qually fail, but I can do a 1.28.1)
Lambo - 1.28.2
Suzuka
Nissan - 2.08.8
Audi - 2.09.6
Lambo - 2.08.3
It's only disadvantage seems to be Sebring, where it loses out majorly on the two long straights. With this not being on the calendar when the official season starts, I'm afraid I won't be changing the Gallardos PI. I did also test it out on Road America, with that being considered a speed track, and it makes up a chuck of time at the Kink, making it a possible dominent car there.
Preseason testing times
Road America
Nissan - 2.12.3
Lambo - 2.11.6
Sorry GTR

Re: TORA GT24 - Rules and Regulations
Mclaren.
Running it last night it certainly had plenty of speed down the straights but really suffered in the twisties probably due to sports tyres.
How about race tyres but with, say, a 5% power handicap ?
This would on the face of it put it over the 700 limit but would be evened out on the track.

Cheers Simon. Thanks for putting the time in. Possibly car just doesn't suit me.. Although I haven't raced enough to be honest. No excuses now, just put the time in.
Re: TORA GT24 - Rules and Regulations
No worries GTR. I feel the Gallardo handles like a dream, so its my N24 car
Re: TORA GT24 - Rules and Regulations
The Morgan is really hard to make!
I know have: S690, 598hp, 551lb-ft and it weights exactly 2,901 lbs.
