eBay Motors WSR line-up confirmed, Tony Gilham has a new car (an ex-Dynamics Honda Civic it would appear) although the team running it is uncertain, and Frank Wrathall is keen to be back out, dependant on budget.

Interesting that WSR have spent money developing the BMW turbo engine with Neil Brown Engineering. A lot of expense to go to for one year's running. Very much points to WSR looking at NGTC BMWs, most likely the new 3 series, for 2013.

I very much hope that WSR are planning on using the new 3 series next year, the 3 series needs to continue to race in proper touring car racing.

In other news, Motorbase have confirmed 3 Ford Focus entries for Mat Jackson, Liam Griffin and Aron Smith. It appears Frank Wrathall has secured Mac Tools as a sponsor for 2012, so should be out. And Thorney will announce their second driver tomorrow (Thursday).

So by my reckoning we've at least 21 confirmed entries for 2012 so far, 11 of which are NGTC, with a very likely four or five more to come.

So we have 24 confirmed entries for the season ahead, with a 25th (Thorney's second car) arriving later in the season.

Media day was today, and the shock came from ES Racing's Dave Newsham topping the timesheets during the test session, followed by the works Hondas of Shedden and Neal respectively.

Didn't expect to see Dave Newsham on pole! The MG looks great as i don't think they had the race splitter on the car at the media day! Cracking result for ES Racing though really liking how close the series is already Very Happy
