gutted, if mikey hadn't lagged out in his 2nd stint we would have finished 2nd!

The Porsche DLC code winners for the classes will be picked soon, I think it's time we all got some rest now!
Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
That's the thing, lag outs and stuff like the equates to the real Le Mans' puncture and spins etc

I suppose 22nd isn't too bad. Could've been 11th. That's the difference missing a stint makes. This will probably cloud over me for a while. But was fun competing nevertheless. I had good battles throughout the field. Particularly in stint 8 when a collision before Terte Rouge left we plum last & having to make a pitstop. Clean battles with LMR Deftone, B0Xc8 & Flyin Mikey J. I'm aware I may have been lagging a bit. But I didn't get chance to reboot my Xbox between my triple stint

Huge thanks for all drivers and spectators. Without you guys these events wouldn't happen, and we would have no reason to attempt such a huge event.
Well done to all winners, and who wants to begin practice for next year tonight!?

Likewise, if our car didn't get screwed over, we'd have finished 2nd

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Completely gutted that we lost a stint due to connection issues. But I'm still happy to finish in 5th place....and sometimes mix it with the Acura's.
I would like to thank everyone of the staff members in TORA for running this event. I'm not sure if I'll race it again but it's been a good experience.
Most of all, thank you to my team mates Chad and Chris for being brave by doing the night stints. I'm just really sorry that I let you down with the connection issues. Otherwise, we would have been on the podium.
Many thanks everyone! Here's to Le Mans 2013!

I know you weren't planning on taking part Dan, but stepping in for your team during difficult times was very good of you, and the team still performed the best to could.
Well done

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
WOW awesome job by all thanks for making that the biggest TORA event to date, though next weekends GT may eclipse this
Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
I've forgot to mention that I was gonna donate to cancer research uk.
After totalling up the number of laps I covered, and also a kind addition from my family, I've managed to raise £45.90 for Cancer Research.

Excellent news Dan, that's brilliant.
I've PMd you thanks already but I suppose I'd say it again here
Great organisation by the TORA staff - absolutely fantastic. Live stream was captivating as well, really gave the full experience of the 24h!
Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Thanks to everyone at TORA for this great event!
Also well done F4H for taking the win in P1!
It was so much fun preparing for this and to come second in P1 is just great.
I want to thank my teammates:
Morphader nl for the nice paint, tsaFooT and Adder20 for the fine tunning of our old Acura, she was lovely to drive!
Sorry to see the connection issues for some of the other teams.
I had a great time racing with all of you and hope to see you on the track soon. (not Le Mans, I be staying away from that track for a few weeks........ )

Cheers Simon. I've really enjoyed it more than I thought. Once I drove the first hour of the race, it's utterly addictive.
I think I gave you commentators a few reasons for your jaws to drop....or to jump out of your seats. One overtake in particular.

I (DBS6) apologize for causing that collision before Tertre Rouge. I was battling with your teammate Mrrazz like crazy in prior stints and really wanted to stay ahead, but being the first lap, lost grip on cold tires and REALLY goofed. You guys had that Jaguar hauling ass though!!

Well done on hosting a fantastic event, completely knackered now but enjoyed every minute. Even when I wasn't in a stint I was glued to the TORA TV stream, I think I only missed about 4 hours of it. Kudos to the staff for the organisation of it all, must of been a bit of a headache at times but well worth it. Think its the start of really big things for TORA.

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
I have to give a massive shout out to the team of Krypton Motorsport. Without them this would not have been as nail biting as it has been, so thank you so much guys.
Also a massive round of applause goes to all the TORA staff for creating yet another EPIC event. You have all exceeded all my expectations again for my second TEC .
The live stream was fantastically put together and hope it takes its place for upcoming event.
The final congratulations go to all the guys who participated in such a massive event. I have only been here since the beginning of the year and have seen this community grow into such a professionally and well organised community.
Congratulations to the winning teams and to everyone who managed to last till the final flag.
It was just a pitty the jags engine blew just after the 20 hour mark, setting the team back 2 hours with a full engine rebuild. The team stuck together and worked as fast as they could to get the car back on the track in time for the last 2 hour lunge to the final chequered flag. Ensuring the Krypton Motorsport made a tremendous impact on the race.
This is one event I will be telling the grandkids in time to come .
CONGRATULATIONS TORA

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
Well I now have very cramped and swore hands. But at least I didn't lag out, finished all my stints, and even covered the last stint. I'd probably dropped my lap times from 4:04s to 4:01s if not 4:00s.
And could someone change the last stint to say I ran it? Cause I covered for Angel when he didn't show. :p

Re: TORA 24 Hours of Le Mans - General Discussion
I have to say that I didn't take part in this, nor was I particularly interested in doing so...
...and then I found myself watching the live stream all morning right through to the finish this afternoon It was utterly captivating.
To anybody looking in from the outside, this was an extremely well organised and impressive event for which I now regret not being able to enter myself

Congratulations to F4H Motorsport and M&M racing for their class wins.
Just out of interest. How many miles has each driver covered? I've totalled all of mine and it comes to 1,651 miles.

F4H for the muddaflippin win!!!!
Thank you to everyone here at TORA. The live stream was awesome.
Real happy our P1 team brought home the victory. We are dissapointed the GT teams encountered some bad luck, but they proved in there stints how fast and tough it would have been to beat them.
