Something in me hates California. I can't explain it.
East Coast baby!

Re: Weather.
Heavy rain down here in Devon. Eased off in the last hour but likely to get worse again later on. Could be interesting trying to set up camp at Sillystone this evening!!!
Re: Weather.
Well I thought too much to expect a completely dry weekend. I think in total we've had four dry days this season.
Makes up for last year's 1 wet day.

Re: Weather.
Time to go get gas (petrol) for the generator! Unless it changes course, it's coming to Pensacola dammit. Be staying up all night to. For a category 1 or 2 we don't leave home. Higher than that and we leave town. I'm due for a new Xbox anyway.....

Re: Weather.
Its nice out here, and it has to be. We are getting a big [Censored] off crane to lift out our compressor. This thing lifts oil rigs into place, so when it will be along side it will be taller than our rig
Hopefully I can get some pictures.

I grew up in SoCal, and there is much that I do like about the place... but there were enough negatives to send me 1100 miles due North 18 years ago. And I have no plans of ever moving back there.
Yesterday it was clear and blue and 78 degrees Fahrenheit here. Today is more of the same, as will be tomorrow. Not sure how that translates to Celsius, probably 20-odd.

Re: Weather.
The rule of thumb I remember is that 82 F = 28 CFlyin Mikey J wrote: ...

So 78 F probably equals about 25 C. Which is hot by my standards.

Any snow yet Bruno? Right now its 84 F. (feels like 90) 'cause of the humidity, if there was a breeze it would be cool.Flyin Mikey J wrote:The rule of thumb I remember is that 82 F = 28 Cnickyf1 wrote:...

It's been like this most of the summer, except for two five day stretches above 90. I call it "perfect"
Almost makes up for the snow we got in late April.

Re: Weather.
Dewey, that's amazing!
General: Hope all goes well. If [Censored] starts to get real, hold on to an original Xbox, not even a tornado could lift one of those buggers up!
