Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 8 - Road Atlanta (21st Oct)
that was a thrill and a half. Botched the SuperPole by going wide at turn5, thus having to start 14th in Race 1. Climbed up to 8th by the end of Race 1. Race 2, had contact with RicardoUK going into 10a, which to my surprise damaged my car more than i had expected, seeing it wasnt that bad of a hit. 16% front & sides, 30% rear (and i was only running on 5 lbs of rear downforce). but managed to bring the Lambo home in 5th for Race 2, breathing down the neck of CRA Adder after he got around me a few laps earlier

Really sorry for the contact in that one.. didn't think it was as bad as it was as it was slow. Igot shunted from behind just after too wich put me back on the grass with 40% allround damage too. Again sorry for the incident.. maybe i need to work on my brakeing points a bit betterRollin InAn STi wrote:that was a thrill and a half. Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 8 - Road Atlanta (21st Oct)
Wow wow, well i really need to work on my super pole runs cuz i botched it again the second race in a row and dug myself a whole again. but the car is just bad fast and thus the closing rate proved to be a huge challenge for me.
Race 1- touched the inside wall going into turn 1 and lost it but no damage... pulled in a 15th...
Race 2- I pulled the belts tight and went after Lucifer with everything i got, but it seemed we would mess up on the same lap and same corner and i just couldn't real him back in till the end...
What a race tho, glad i finally got a podium... The viper is definitely becoming a force to be reckoned

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 8 - Road Atlanta (21st Oct)
Mixed feelings about this one....
First race already in the beginning I got hit by BG lucifer or BG Leigh in the back so I was f.cked up the rest of the race. Still managed to get in 9th.
Don't be afraid, I won't put in a SI.
Second race I was consistent and I got a bit nervous by Rollin because I couldn't shake him off.
I have to say to the organisers that, I think you made a mistake by making the lobbies of 16.
I f there was someone who couldn't join due to networkproblems, there was no possibility to get a lobby lower.
Also the superpole in lobby b went strange, because the lobby started even without the host ( still in the party?)telling us that.

@Adder: if i know i got a car that can compete like that, i make it known. i know your BMW had more straight line speed, so i couldnt really mount a pass once you got by me.
As for Lobby B host still in party, CMGraphix was still trying to get the gents who were co-hosting Lobby C situated. i also, was a little concerned though about the 16 player lobby(ies) tonight

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 8 - Road Atlanta (21st Oct)
Lobby B was indeed a very close race...
Race 1 was a bit of a crap between me, Ian and two BeeGees (heh). Made a few mistakes and put back to 4th. Very close towards the end!
Race 2 was all over the place, including this:

Tell me about it, i'm heading up to turn two minding my own business, then BAM, out of nowhere two cars are on their noses and i have nowhere to go... carnage ensues!
It seems to be certain people repeatedly lagging, although not always consistently throughout the whole race...

Re: TORA MSA GT Meeting 8 - Road Atlanta (21st Oct)
Quite lucky to get the results I did to be honest. Damage in both races thanks to lag doesn't help much, so I can sympathise with everyone who suffered, especially in the second race.
I'm pretty sure forza can cope with 16 players in one lobby, but it just all depends on peoples connections at the end of the day. I'm sure there are issues my end as well, but I've tried my best to resolve the issues I've been suffering my end recently. Even today, I've had to reset my router about 4 or 5 times. I'm just grateful that I've made the finish in both races.
But the last half of the second race was awesome. BG Smithy was very fair and did some brilliant defensive driving for a few laps. I was trying to cope with heavy rear-end damage whilst trying to find a way past Smithy and hold off CQR VtecTorque and CQR Haburi.
