Re: TEC Community general discussion
"Mikey how did your stint go?"
For starters, I really loosened up the car, then forgot to turn TCS back on after IROC testing, so the first couple laps saw me drop through the field in a very sideways manner. By pitstops, I had gotten a handle on the car and soon afterwards picked off a couple cars. Then I had to pee. tried to fight that off for a few laps, to no avail. Lost two miles in that unscheduled stop at the Carousel latrine. Started making some progress, then got caught offline checking my mirrors and tattered both ends of the car. So much of the last hour was spent trying to get out of others way, and minimizing time lost as well as further damage.
I guess I could have made a much shorter answer with a simple "Ugh"

Don't worry about it Mikey, they're aware of what happened. Nothing much to say unless you want to brow beat and talk them into sending us all 1600 MS points each
Why would they send you the points? lol, surely just Mad Dog (Haydo).
p.s The whole issue sounds and probably is laughable...

Re: TEC Community general discussion
I want to publicly thank Wingnut and Haydo for all their hard work in making this race happen.
I know there was some issues in getting this going, then lightning strikes, and some post race shenanigans that may have tainted the experience, but you guys did a hell of a job.

Since Bandit missed his stint in the LMP car, he never actually drove it, so I put him in our car for your stint.
Re: TEC Community general discussion
What a rollercoaster event for CRA!
Morph couldnt join, several lag outs, drivers not showing up, team 1 pulled out , 3rd podium for team 2, the 2nd podium for team 3, team 4 dissapointing due to no show and lag out and team 5......well dont know what happened, but there will be some discussion about that....
Cant tell what Haydo and the blue guys all did to make this event happen, so I cant really say about them anything, except thank you for making this event happen.
Wingnut, sometimes you may sound like a cocky ass ( maybe the wrong words, I say what I think) on the forum, but in the party and also when we raced indy you are just friendly guy.
You were really on top of the things for this race, f.e. helping getting drivers in the lobby, grid order for the stints and updating results.
Tora can be really proud to have you organise this event, you are a great asset for them. You are an example for Tora organisers how to run the race.
Well done!

Re: TEC Community general discussion
Wow we got 2nd, really didnt expext that.
Had alot of fun on my first endurance race .
Gratz to smurfys team in taking 1st .
Was a lot of fun racing you guys in lobby b.
Ill think i will join silverstone after this, starting to love forza again after a break of 1 1/2 years
To bad for the lag outs for many teams, after alot of practice you have to miss out the race this way.
I can understand the frustration.
Lets hope they fix this on the new xbox, i read they are massively upgrading the servers so lets hope this will never happen in forza5.

Thought you and Taku would of had the win here. A shame people who got lucky turn out to be big headed Tw*ts.

Qualy & Stint 1 tells enough of a story for me. And Takumi is quicker than me so god knows what he would have done

Thanks for the consideration in our lobby XB6 during the 4th stint, it was much appreciated keeping well out the way mate.......
Thanks to the organisers of this event and well done to the winners of both classes, we were leading the GT going into the last stint but fell foul to lag issues during the 5th stint which robbed us of victory, however we'd never of been that close to the top if others had not lagged out in earlier stints..........

Oh I thought we finished this whole episode. Bandit and Matt poked fun at TG's result and it was taken the wrong way, probably due to frustration that endurance racing brings. They've apologised and it seems to be forgotten, I doubt there was an malicious intent behind it.
Aside from that, well done to the community team, Wingnut, Haydo, all race hosts & racers who made it happen. Hopefully next gen will have less connection issues.
