Faulty DLC codes?

I got the LCE and the codes redeemed, obviously but the DLC will NOT download.

Restart your xbox and make sure you have enough memory. If the game is connected to XBL (which GRID would do because of Racenet) then the download will stop, so instead just wait on the ~~dashboard~~ Xbox Home

I tried it through the dashboard and the in game menus and both redeemed the code and failed to download.

Huh... How about contacting Codemasters and see what they say? Might need to contact Xbox Support too. Go on Twitter and tweet to @Codemasters @XboxSupport

I dunno what it is. My Xbox has 58GB left and the DLC is 18MB.

It might have something to do with permissions, particularly the nonsense with parental controls and also the stupid parental email you have to have until you're 21. Sometimes they bugger up, as it did with me once.

Well I can only suggest contacting Xbox Support on Monday, I'm afraid. MS has a no-refund policy on downloads so fingers crossed it can be all fixed

The same thing was happening to a quite a few people, myself included. After redeeming the code every time I tried to download the black pack it would keep going from 1% back to 0% then eventually give up and say cannot download the black pack. After trying a few times yesterday then again this morning it still didn't work until around 7.30pm tonight. I mentioned it on the Codemasters forum as did a few other people so I assume it's been fixed. Some other people said they had the same thing happen to them but just kept trying and eventually it worked so it might be somewhat random.

It's cracking fun. Nothing like Forza, but it's good enough to let you attack/defend properly. It's all about the pack racing.

Grid Autosport will receive three mini-expansions and three new car packs over the next few months

The mini-expansions will each include a new single-player championship plus a selection of tracks, routes and cars. The expansions will be released in three themed packs which Walke identified as the Sprint Pack, the Touring Car Legends Pack, and the Drag Racing Pack.

The three car packs will be ‘Best of British’, ‘Coupe Style’, and ‘Road & Track’.

The quantity and type of vehicles in each pack was not detailed in the post. More information about the packs would be published closer to their release.
All DLC is currently scheduled to be released before October 2014.
