No they said it was because if they did develop it for Next Gen then it wouldn't have half the content it does have on Current Gen consoles.
wtf how does that make any sense?
Why was Forza 5 only for the Xbox One ?

Driving Assists are back since GRID 2 went no-holds-barred with no assists at all:

And everyone's favourite fictional racing team Ravenwest makes an interesting return:

Re: GRID: Autosport
Nathan and Rick are the Ravenwest drivers in GRID 1 too.
Also I have a hunch that Rick Scott is your coach from TOCA Race Driver 3, as he was a Scot too...
Damn I loved Race Driver 3

Re: GRID: Autosport
I chose the Clios.
TRD3 was incredible though. Castle Combe to Mount Panorama. Full DTM, British GT and V8 Supercar schedules, and the ability to run full races. I struggle to think of a racing discipline which DIDN'T feature in that game.
Also had some Indycar content too. A license which Codemasters still hold to this day I see.
Grid Autosport sounds promising. If it can live up to the fun and believability in the handling department that the ToCA series always had, then it'll be a blast. It doesn't have to be totally simulation, but it better play well.

Re: GRID: Autosport
Also, it seems Codemasters are on a massive recruitment drive if any of you have the skills?
http://blog.codemasters.com/category/careers/
Had a look, but nothing which matches my skills.

Re: GRID: Autosport
Ravenwest are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Nothing that I cannot handle though. Ravenwest are easy, get them where it hurts most. Also, speaking of which, I don't know if any of you saw but Codies said that my team could run the new Ravenwest liveries for TORA. Just not officially. So you might be seeing a few grey and black stripes of memory lane on the track at some point. Be prepared. After all, a wise old engineer once said "Ravenwest are in this race, aim for third. That may just be your best bet."

Agreed, but I look at this and I'm unmoved. Unless P CARS and FM5 have ruined it for me, the graphics are crap to me. Also, no XB1?? Forget it
Re: GRID: Autosport
If Autosport is as good as the promo video looks then maybe it will be worth people like me who don't have xbox one buying? Forza 4 lobbies are almost empty now, and to be honest F1 2013 is pretty crap online so this might extend the life of the 360 a bit.

Re: GRID: Autosport
There's still a market for the 360 and PS3. A lot of people are staying on the 'old' gen consoles. If the game is good it will sell. It's not as if it's not going to sell because it's not on the new consoles.

Re: GRID: Autosport
GRID: Autosport for me, is more looks than gameplay. I am going to try and get my hands on it, see what it is like, honestly though, I take games almost too seriously. GRID needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. If I am honest, there might be a few easter eggs going round on it, with McKane and Scott, in my view though, Codemasters need to impress for it to do well. I am just hoping that it doesn't go down the pan, like GRID 2 did. If they have based this around GRID 2, I will be quite disappointed. However, these are assumptions and not proven yet. Graphically, the game is amazing, but it is the "Changes" I am worried about. Let's hope that these "Changes" are for the better and not for the sales.

Re: GRID: Autosport
If you look at the list there's the two WTCC cars (BMW and Chevy) and two BTCC cars (Ford and Honda) in the same class (Cat C)

Nice to see a lot of different categories as well with the other cars which they got e.g. Indycar .tcc,f3,gt.driffing. But the only thing that would stop me from buying it is that...Codemaster games don't hold value well.

if you are on about bit about Codemaster games don't hold value well ? If so then just look t the f1 games about 4 - 6 months it came down to £20. And would be thinking waiting until it came down in price...But if it is really good then it would hold its value.
