I must confess that I am surprised, but I haven't been involved in any testing or such. The XBone will only be a 1/3 of their expected sales I suppose, so it won't be the death of the game to battle FM6 for money in the fall, but it's a shame it has come this late now.

I can understand why they delayed it but you can always make things better & better so that excuse is pony for me. For example, it's like Battlefield delaying their game to add more multiplayer maps, which is great, but then they add a ton more in after release and charge you a bomb for them too which is poo. Basically the point I'm getting at is if they keep delaying just to add content why don't they let us have the game a little earlier and put all this extra content in the DLC packs that will come out or as just an update to the game. It's not like there is going to be a ton of content they can generate in just a month

Well we do know there is a day 1 patch. Cuz the disc itself can't hold the full game so some stuff is dropped or reduced for the disc, but it will be added back in a patch.

That makes sense, but they should really not be giving dates and not stick to them.

It's just a matter of bad business period.

Post by Dominic Mako Mon 9 Mar 2015 - 15:21

I read recently that details of the season pass may have been leaked, with the following details:

Car Pack “racing icons” Extension “Audi Ruapuna Speedway” Car Pack “new for old” Extension “Red Bull Ignition” Car Pack “Aston Martin” Extension “Lotus Classic” Car Pack “Renault Sport” Extension “Toyota & Mitsubishi Macau” Extension “Ford Oval Racing”

A week's early access so that you can be a nose ahead of your competition forever. 50 exclusive car coats, allow you to bring your team affiliation to express and make a good impression on the track at the same time.

I'm not sure how reliable this information is, but it's been reported at multiple sources. Also, I'm curious what the term extension is meant to represent vs Car or Track Pack. Is that meant to add onto previously existing content, like an additional layout for a track already in the game?

I know DLC is a touchy subject, so any other insight or debunking would be helpful.

No surprise here, so I guess FM6 should be out before this now lol

Another delay?

I always welcome delays for the general improvement of the game, but this is just ridiculous now.

That's great news. I did notice in a recent Failrace vid that a lot of the advertising hoardings at Watkins Glen was more realistic.
Really looking forward to getting back to grips with Sonoma too

Please tell me this isn't the said surprise.

Especially since we already knew these tracks were in the game under their official name... So I dont know why this took so long. Even more so with the game less than a month away any day 1 content should of been made official already.

Just my two cents, but I do welcome the official word... Confirming we get what we were told we were getting lol

Pleased to announce that CQR Club's Ashley Sutton (CQR Champion) is the latest driver to become part of Project CARS Young Driver Initiative!

"A part of Project CARS' ongoing dedication to blurring the lines between gaming and real-life is its Young Driver Initiative whereby up & coming race drivers can use the game as a learning tool to help with their career; whether that's practicing on a track they don't have physical access to, experimenting with tuning setups on their car, or laying down competitive times on the Driver Network Leaderboard."

Glad to see him getting such recognition. I assume that means CARS logos on his race suit for 2015?
