Don't get your hopes up on fm6, they are not paid to listen to the community they are paid to do what Microsoft wants and that is all about sales.

Re: Project CARS.
Did you read further in that thread General to see what the actual bug was?
It was a problem with the new XBone Logitech wheel that hasn't even been released yet so I think we could give them some slack on this one.
As for Shriking Steven, try turning Deadzone Removal Falloff to max, see if that helps. Without knowing what settings you are using FFB wise it's tough to see what might be causing it.

On the PC version it keeps making re-do all my button configurations each time I go on the game (yes I click save)
Also the same with tunes.
Is anyone else having that issue?
Next question.
I use a G25 wheel and have a small issue with the force feedback anyway to make it feel tighter? I say this because from the 10-2 position its really lose then it becomes responsive after that. Any help?
There's a file someone created for the PC that has FFB settings for all the cars. My teammate at EZT downloaded it (he has the CSR wheel) and he said it was fantastic. I'll find out from him where to get it for you. As for the other settings, there's a few glitches on the Xbone as well, like I have to adjust the seat settings every time I get in the car.

Here's the link for the specific car FFB settings. All the documentation is self-explanitory. There are 5 'modes' - your choice. There's also a database to convert this info for console applications. Good stuff!

Re: Project CARS.
Good stuff - if you listened to the radio show you may have picked up that 2.5 is en route too
Re: Project CARS.
Haven't listened to the broadcast yet but 2.5 apparently fixes the pit issues. PC (that personal computer not pCars) players have that available now and if all pit bugs have been ironed out we should see it going multiplatform very soon.Matt wrote:Good stuff - if you listened to the radio show you may have picked up that 2.5 is en route too

Is this worth the money?
Is this game worth the money? I have heard there was a lot of bugs in it with the controls and such.

Re: Project CARS.
I would probably play single player for awhile. But ultimately I want to focus online since i am hardwired now.

Re: Project CARS.
*for Xbone users*
On the dashboard, Make sure you've fully closed the game out by pressing the three dashed button at the top(start button). Start the game and you'll get a notification for an update.

Re: Project CARS.
Multiplayer is working much better now since the 2.0 update, frame rate is solid 60fps even with larger lobbies now. Watch the onboard replay in this video from 6:40 minutes in, some of the finest wheel-to-wheel multiplayer racing I've seen on any racing sim (CQR NEON is in the yellow car and onboard is CQR Rich):

I didn't have a spec of framerate drop on Sunday and zero lag. There was still instances of the odd sound distortion nearly always when I was pulling away out of Luffield but aside from that it was great.
Just need the replay side of things to be more robust and friendly and we'll be golden.
Re: Project CARS.
Oddly the patch had a negative impact for me. I now have some sound glitches where I didn't have any before. Not a game breaker, but slightly annoying.
It also seems to have affected my controller. After HOURS of trying to get the settings where I was comfortable with them (and admittedly I hate using the controller after years of using a wheel) it is again not quite right. The cars feel "twitchy" again, and where I could put a good amount of trigger into braking the wheels now lock up at the slightest input. I'll have to look at my settings again to see if anything changed.

I felt the same. Not problems with the feel of the car but multiplayer issues like I can't get out the pits or something like thatEZT MAKO 6669 wrote:Oddly the patch had a negative impact for me. Re: Project CARS.
Since patch 2.0 i have found that ALL the settings I had for my FFB in respect to wheel settings are needing scraped. Now I find the stock settings very good indeed if am honest.
Anyone else finding this with their wheels? (i have the 458)

Re: Project CARS.
Why has update 2.0 not fix the problem in multiplayer where you can join but not race and join but not change your camera view ? All update 2.0 has made the game run a bit better nothing else.
