TORA US American Iron Discussion

I know i had a shocking qualifying, but i hope anyone that i overtook didn't see it as me pushing u out the way, i tried 2 make passes as i quickly could without contact, i know me and Roscoe had some Door 2 Door in last corner, but apart from that i cant recall anything else

I haven't watched it yet but all my replays go to NSA replay team and there are some questionable details on my copy so I'm hoping another source replay will clear things up ill be reviewing after dinner:)

Well we cant check our Replay, to check this out inless, u tell us what are the Faults :/

There's a problem with supercharged car's exceeding Max HP I'm hopeful this wasn't planned but either way I felt it should be discussed there is no si....
as I hope this is something we as a series can work thorough

This was already mentioned in a chat im in, Motorhead and Bullin I think both said if the Trans AM is at 398 BHP some how it gives it 402-403 :/ idunno why but maybe its something we should look at into the Trans AM personally.

Other forced induction cars did it aswell

Replays are not always 100% accurate. That said, even if it is, the cars are built to the posted specs. If they weren't, they wouldn't be able to get in the lobby. If they are in fact getting a slight boost in power, then hooray for them, I wish I had the foresight to check that out!! LOL

Personally, I'm not worried about 4 or 5 extra HP. In my experience it doesn't make any difference. If it was 10 or 15, then maybe. Just my thoughts...

I have no idea why it is 403 HP my build is 389HP.

I have no reason to cheat. And I'm not out running cars.

All I'm saying at max boost forcedinduction is jumping higher then max HP...
I understand replays are not 100% but all three supercharged cars are above 400 at some point in the lap....no reason to get panties in a bunch

just done a quick test in my Ford, it hits 401 for me when going up the banking leading up to the CorkScrew, but its only for a split second. will check replay now

Was a bit busy the last couple days, but wanted to come in and say I had a very enjoyable race and was happy to see clean starts and a fair avoidance of the braking markers even if they didn't make the full race.

As for the extra HP, I definitely noticed that on 3 or 4 cars, and checked in telemetry on the drag strip and adjusted for 400 hp in telemetry for my builds. However, the specs Forza uses to determine PI and stats considers them within the limits and the HP was only around 5 hp over in some of the cars, so I didn't feel it was of much concern if people relied on Forza's definitions and enforced limits. Will throw up my replay later in the day when I get on my Xbox.

It happens under max boost and apparently Forza has always miscalculated forced induction...odd I never knew that :/

I did a few test builds after the race and found that Centrifugal Supercharger to be the root cause...


... now I know "why" superchargers were never allowed in TORA's TCC series. They found this out some years back, long before I was on Staff. I knew that there was a ban on superchargers, but until now, never knew "why".

So there is a Tora rule banning them?
My suggestion would be no penalty for the past but going forward reinstate the superchager ban

It is midseason, and would require multiple lobby groups to enforce. I'd rather leave it be, as its such a small HP percentage gained at less than 1% (3 HP over 400 HP) and you gain a higher percentage of nose weight to get it.

C. Two of the top three in points are taking advantage of a flawed system.. HP to weight ratio it matters!!!
