16 car grids doesnt bother me too much these days.
Yes Forza 5 was looking to have more but dials back for good reasons. It would be great to have more on track, but from a driver perspective, if your passing more than 16 cars at a time, probably didn't start where you should of..
As for multi class racing... There my views are opposite lol the more the better

Battlefield 4 doesn´t have complicated physics to process in each car and it doesn´t run at constant 60FPS. Also, its 720p.
Funny coincidence is that FM5 was supposed to have 24 cars in the grid. They, most likely, had to reduce the number because of perfomance issues.

if this is the BEST they can do on the Xbox One and PS4 is 16 players... so can the Xbox One and PS4 can ONLY hold 16 players if so then .... I would agree with II AntR II BEST place for PCARS in on a PC.

I can't sadly imagine SMS producing three distinct online systems when one will do with a limitation in for consoles generally rather than specifying.

It was based on two things; the number given for the previous gen consoles (which was a memory problem (ie, not enough of it) an issue which is no longer relevant), and the demo that SMS had put out for the E3 only had 15 AI drivers. SMS will not confirm how many AI drivers will be on track because the game has not gone throught it's final optimisation stage. Once we have the game running at it's optimal performance, the devs will be able to give a final number.
It's been said before, the issue online is not necessarily limited by the consoles' ability to display x number of cars on track, more the online capablities of the consoles and the associated servers. We will have to wait and see what the final numbers are, SMS are not confirming any numbers regarding that (only that 16 would be a minimum).

Playstation can´t handle more players? Nope. That is not a issue.
The PS4 can handle 64 players in Battlefield too. Plus, it has more resolution (900p).
Honestly, I see this more of hardware limitation rather than online/servers issue. Both Azure and Sony´s Servers are quite powerful. For me, they are avoiding the question not only because they haven´t finished the game but also to avoid resolution wars among Xbox and PS4 owners.

It's a shame to hear of the limitation of the multiplayer , but that's to be expected I suppose, can't wait to actually play the game , In my opinion I feel that even with the limitations it can still and probably will beat Forza

For next gen, I can see PC and PS4 getting the most attention in terms of Graphics by folks putting up photos and videos.
