The Camaro is a pain in the backside to get to 690! Been on the build for like half an hour now and still havent got it...

Got the build and its a rubbish car shame since it looks unreal!

Same problem here, mate.
I tinkered with it for about an hour and I finally got there; 599hp, 690PI. I can't remember my exact setup right now but if you want it I can give you it.
Personally, I don't find it too bad. If you tune it right it's got incredible grip, despite it being a Camaro (although it gets a little slippery on the long downhill corners) and has fair acceleration. But the top speed is poor compared to the other cars; then again, they are supercars.

i like to think Silverstone is a grip track. Aren't very many long straights. 2 long straights (not counting the start/finish straight) followed by a Slew of corners.
