How do i take a IFCA ratings test

Trying to understand this.. Say we had 28 entrants.. I qualify 26th lobby B.. But I'm limited to 15th max. But lobby A qualifier can finish no lower than 14th?? If all drivers around you are of a similar rating your rating isnt going to change much.
So being a proficient hot lapper (due to our current qualifying format with no collisions) means a much higher ranking.

Or have I got the wrong end of the stick and it's based on relevant gains and losses.. But this is dependent on lobby size.. Max is +/- 15 places. But do you then take into account the total number of participants??

Not sure what you are referring to? The ratings are applied to a given 16 man lobby max. Your rating is derived from those in your lobby only.

ahhh.. i thought it was based on all racers in a given event not the lobby.. makes more sense now. i'm going to read the full thread back (slowly)..

The list aint in use no more and using a one on one races to place you on a ranking list

The current ratings list is still in use for the purposes of challenges and creating the new rankings list.

BTW, Here are the drivers you are allowed to challenge based on your rating. Once you race a rated driver, you will then be added to the World Rankings List/ladder. Drivers can challenge people up to 75 ratings points above you.
