Moore was a huge loss to open wheel racing in America. Two of Franchitti's best mates have met in heaven to watch over him.

Its a werid one for me as my son COLIN was named after McRAE, his second name is MOOREhouse and now on this thread i would like you all to know that my second baby will be called DANNY if its a boy, Who is due on the 15th of May

The reason why it's so early is because it will be quite a long race, and I want it to be done with in a decent amount of time so that it doesn't go too late into the night.

Team: Simtek Ford

You might look at this livery and think "Oh, thats not very good, come on up your game a bit" but this livery is inspired from Simtek Ford's 1994 F1 Car, driven by Roland Ratzenberger. Roland tragically lost his life during qualifying for the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. A day before 3 times world champion Aryton Senna tragically died. There is no doubt that Roland's death was over-shadowed by Arytons death. FIA President Max Mosley attended the funeral of Ratzenberger, despite the overwhelming attention on Senna's funeral, both in the world of motorsport and worldwide. In a press conference ten years later Mosley said, "'Roland had been forgotten. So I went to his funeral because everyone went to Senna's. I thought it was important that somebody went to his" I believe Roland should get the recognition he deserves which is why I'm choosing to run this livery.

I have a Tony Kanaan 7-Eleven paint on a Ford GT, going to try and mangle it onto the Acura and hopefully it will look nice.

go talk to mikem there facepalmer, he uses that paint on the acura in the ISCC

Still have a bunch of decal work to do on the car. If anyone can help me out with some decal it would be very much appreciated. I still need: Firestone, PPG, Magneti Marelli, Bosch, and Mercedes-Benz lettering.


Did a bit of testing with a best time of 0:41.715. The rear tire temps are insanely high (240 F). Does anyone know if there is anything that can be done about it?

Damage will be on cosmetic, so I don't think it will really matter.

@Duke I have the Bosch & Mercedes Benz & sent them but not sure if it was on your gamertag, so I sent over a decal pack with more sponsors on it as it's easier to find!

P.S - Use the Mercedes logo! Took me hours to do that! But it has a hefty number of layers

Due to further testing, we have decided to make tuning COMPLETELY UNRESTRICTED, apart from wheels.

With help from Kilroy8 and Flyin Mikey I am done. I got lazy and just picked up the Magneti Marelli and Firestone vinyls from the storefront.

This may not be the greatest paintjob, but I just wanted to have something of my own in the race.

Ignore the other post I did for the event. I will join this race with the #66 Acura ARX-02a with a possibility of a different paintjob.
