Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Modafaya, you have been around how long? I know of about a month and a half yet you have appeared in multiple accidents in various series between two sites. You constantly come on to those sites after your various accidents and immediately go into an attacking and defensive mode to any and everyone that dares say anything.
Before you answer in another attacking manner to someone else I would like to hear an answer or explanation to this and this only as it may clarify your train of thoughts when racing.
There are many different lines into that last corner just as Koenigsegg stated but if there is a car there what happens to those lines? Do they change or do you go on like they are a ghost? Do the five lines soon become the one against the wall?
You need to understand that as the passing driver whether it be in multi-class or not that you are responsible for the safety of both your car and the one you are passing. It is not their responsibility to get out of your way. It is your responsibility and your responsibility alone to make certain that the car you are passing leaves the corner you pass it in in the same exact condition as it began the maneuver in. If it hasn't and did not make a grave mistake of it's own it is entirely your fault for not protecting both cars.

Want to thank my team mates and Congrats to the 007 on hopefully a strong finish! When I got into my stint I had no pace, just none, it felt so slow, could'nt make it work. Was happy to let others passed, just did the best I can and got the car back all clean for Chris to jump in.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
@ TG I was following my line as far as that was the correct line for me as i judged it in that particular turn given the factors calculated in , such as entry point, braking point and positioning of other racers.
I cannot tell without seeing the replay myself what exactly happened. What i think is not what you think and does not state right or wrong unless facts are given and replays are seen. The facts are, I took damage in the rear so that *opinion* likely means that my car was already past his car by a fair bit for him not to turn into me like that.
He obviously states that i was running to wide of a line, his opinion. I did tell him directly afterwards what i thought of it and how much damage i took and the whole lobby heard it, no discussion bout it. It hampered my race from that point on
Ive answered your question even when i just said i wouldnt comment on it.
On a side note: What happens in different series in different situations and what you think about that, i really couldnt care less.
Besides u brought your answer like u watched the replay yourself, which now i hear u, u didnt at all, so as far as who has a point, yours could be as good or as bad as mine. Something with a Pot calling the Kettle black?

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
I had a couple contact issues in my stints, both lag related. Seems that Hailfire and King Bluess had a couple collisions, the first accidental, the second seemed to be NASCAR Boys Have It!!! payback. Stuff happens in a 12H race and that isn't what bothers me.
What does bother me is incorrect mileage recordings, and more precisely when it gets brought up by a competitor, then swept under the rug by officials. It happened once in my lobby, a good TWO LAP swing, and it seems that it also happened in B Lobby.
Maybe after my second stint, to cut losses, I could have spout out a random number to the host and lost a quarter lap rather than the two I lost with 100% aero damage on L1 of that stint. Frustrating when I drive my ass off for two hours with a wrecked car, pass people in class, only to have a wrong number posted that undid the miles I gained on one of them.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
Congratulations to the #007 team for a flawless performance (apart from 19% front and 10% side aero loss when I hit the inside wall on the first corner). Again, echoing my fellow teammates' comiserations for the #004 car - unlucky... seemed to have searing pace initially but hit by these damn glitches.
Best TORA Endurance result for me, beating our 5th place in Le Mans, 3rd place in the Britcar last year, now 2nd! Onwards and upwards for Le Mans 2013!
And a big thank you to all of the staff for putting a good show on again, and Adrian for not running out of breath at all throughout the live stream!!

I doubt that they will be posted today, as there have been some mileage reporting issues that need resolved... and most everyone is taking a day off.

The CQRish Dyson Car kept its nose clean all 12 hours and at no fault of the driver it got allot of damage. We had no lagouts from the team and without the damage we could have gone on and maybe challenged a win. (yes i know certain people lagged out in teams that were higher up the field but that cant be helped) our demise was because of stupid driving from other cars. Im not impressed at all as our whole team put a great deal of effort in and was going very strong. I think the same can be said for the CQR aston? they got damage from no fault of there own...........
No i'm afraid you are mistaken on the CQR Dyson staying out of trouble, as CQR SPiDeRzZ hit me not once but twice in the same section of track, did not communicate at all during the stint, and when I tried to ask what the hell he was doing (which was stint 5) and even Chaddy agreed that he should have waited till the straight.
He ruined my battle with Chaddy by reckless driving.

surely instead of all this complaining on the forum maybe if theres a problem you should put si in and then the stewards can deal with the situation instead of everyone slagging each other off out in the open for everyone to see,i know some people have put a lot of effort into this event but come on lads not out in the open especially when a lot of people are looking in....sorry for the rant just seems a shame to spoil a good event when the tora staff have put an enormous amount of effort into this.

So, if you take this off AMR's final mileage it works out at around 1,317.8 miles, which would place them 4th not 2nd.
Can we please get this checked out?
What about this, Mourne Identity?
Can you confirm this?

It can't be dealt with an SI when it's past the time forza allows you to view replays, I just felt like setting the record straight, some had more incidents than others, such as I know the other drivers in my team/car caused or were affected by other incidents.

Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
CQR Magictap took the inside into the hairpin on me (T7) without calling it at one point and I voiced my concern about it the lobby by asking him to call passes like that next time.
I was close to turning in when, all of a sudden, a Prototype front wing appears in the bottom right of my screen without warning.
Had a close call with Drake at T5 when he tried to get past without calling it in Stint 1.
IRT Gillard (and others) came past me a couple of times through Turns 11 & 12 without calling it - very dangerous on a twisty part of the track where the racing line cuts across the track a couple of times.
Likewise - a Prototype driver saying "I'm on your right, Corvette" doesn't help when there are multiples of that car in the lobby and you stay left when there's nobody there.
Lobby A Stint 4 when the Prototypes came round to lap the GTEs for the first time was a straight up clusterf**K! You had 7 GTE cars going from Turns 2 up to the hairpin trying to pass each other and the 6 Prototypes were trying to make their way through too. There just isn't the space on track for that kind of action and it was in the middle of that where my stint got screwed.
My Corvette went into the back of F4H Carrera's 'Black Bora of Doom' forcefield. 100% front end damage, 62% side damage but no engine damage and no damage for Carrera.
I had a similar incident in Stint 1 where another 'Black Bora of Doom' forcefield pushed me through a braking zone.
I will have to think long and hard about participating in races where there are Porsches because, for me, it's almost impossible to know exactly where the car really is when the racing is that close.
In a 12 hour race I'm sure we can all find at least one instance of bad driving from nearly every player. If you want to point fingers then that's what SIs are for, not the forums.
FWIW, I enjoyed my stints in the race (and the race in general) because the atmosphere surrounding the event was largely positive.
My only request would be for no double stinting for future events.

i cant confirm that in all honesty i cant remember how far anyone was in front of me....it was late and i had a long day but if thats what it was and the outcome was against me i will accept it...thats up to the tora staff to work out.
im sorry if i've made it worse....just trying to diffuse the situation

I've asked for Lobby B's results again, but this is what was communicated to us at the time.
Re: TORA 12 Hours of Sebring - General Discussion
I really enjoyed my 20 minutes battle with Daniel. In the opening laps I thought he would drive away from me. Luckily I could keep up and come closer. Was about to overtake him and then the crash happened with the flipping LMP. Shame it ended that way, but still a good fight.

Let's hope this issue gets resolved soon so everyone can know for sure. But it'll be devastating if we've lost 2nd place as well as a podium finish.

That was a great battle to watch until said damage-ridden LMP pushed too hard trying to lap the both of you.
