Corvettes slow here. It doesn't get to stretch it's legs, there's lots of heavy braking zones, and slow corner exits. Max for me will probably be a 55.3 or so. The Porsche on the other hand...

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
Managed a low 59 in the Jag, somehow got a dirty 58.4 but believe I took too much grass on exit of turn 4 which I thought had slowed me down but clearly didn't!
If anybody has a base set-up from previous rounds that they'd be willing to share i'd be greatly appreciated, this thing has no speed!

Hi Jono. I would but it's not mine to give, if the kind lad who gave me it sees this then he may also pop it over but I know the time gone into tunes so don't want too be giving some bodies hard work away.

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
I'd like to practice but I work down in Chichester all week and don't get home until Friday evening, by which time the M25 have fried my brain. I think 10 laps of the Ring during a Reliant Robin track day would be easier!
I'm gonna try and practice for Nurburgring GP over the next few days though!

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
Consistently doing 56.0xx-.2xx, but I've hit 55.8xx. I think I can get it to the 55.6's if I put together a good lap but not likely.
Corvette's are tough here.

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
I just cant get it lower than 2.00 iv even taken to cutting corners now to get it down but nope still stays at 2 bloody minz just cant get below that im stuck doing 2's 4/5 seconds off everyone else the only way im getting postions is if i manage toduck in under people at the start and defend like battlestar galactica as if my life depended on it so be warned lobby D i wont just move out the way but never fear apply enuff presure and ill be off at the next corner anyway lol.

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
jonnotheone, what car are you using? Me and my teammate are stuck running 59's in our Z4. We have made drastic changes to the tune to try and find some sort of change, but we keep running 59's and low 2:00's.
Anyone else running the Z4? What times are you getting?

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
^Yeah, we've found a pretty good damping setting, but I can't seem to find any way to get the car to go any faster. I've tried everything from drastically adjusting downforce, diff, springs, tire pressure, gearing, alignment, everything to try to create some kind of response from the car. I've made drastic changes to the car repeatedly, but even if the car ends up feeling different, it still puts in the same lap times. I've been fine with tuning on every other track so far, but NurGP seems to be giving our team some trouble...

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
im using the jag mate but i know others using the jag hitting 56/57 im woindering if everyone uses the manual with clutch as i know tgat makes a big diffrence also.TechnologicMau5 wrote:jonnotheone, what car are you using? Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
Pretty sure 99% of the drivers here are using manual with clutch, it's much faster. Sometimes worth more than half a second.jonnotheone wrote:im using the jag mate but i know others using the jag hitting 56/57 im woindering if everyone uses the manual with clutch as i know tgat makes a big diffrence also.
The Z4 sucks at European tracks. Except for Le Mans, but that track is not in the series. Z4 works better on American tracks. It's hard to put the power down and it has massive oversteer at corner exit. And I'm struggling with understeer at corner entry.TechnologicMau5 wrote:jonnotheone, what car are you using? Best I did so far is a 56.3xx. Which is bad, since I can do 55's in almost every other car.

Re: European GT championship. Lap times.
Send me a friend request on the xbox, I'm easy to find.
i'll do a few laps tonight with you with just a small deal, if I can get your lap times down you'll add a brately sport vinyl to your car for the rest of the series!!
