HCR Solar was my hero of the event on the stream chat and the guys from stint 6; Motorhead and Gearhead, Iceman was there and Rosco. That was one of the better stints!

Re: MSA TORA Daytona 24H - General Discussion
I have some idea to make the next TEC run more smoothly.
1. Stints Their need to be a better laid out in (my option). my idea is this.
Team Name : Z4 Racing Racing
Stint 1: 2 - 4 PM
Driver: Tom
Cover driver: Mike
Weather conditions: Day
With the cover driver it will let the host know if the 1st driver can not turn up then the host can invite the cover driver to take the stint.
2. There need to be a list of who is hosting each stint in a clear way e.g.
Stint 1: Lobby A : Host : Mike : Backup Host : Ross
Stint 2: Lobby A : Host : Mike : Backup Host : Ross
Stint 3: Lobby A : Host : Tom : Backup Host : Mike
Stint 4: Lobby A : Host : Tom : Backup Host : Mike
Stint 5: Lobby A : Host : Ross : Backup Host : Tom
Stint 6: Lobby A : Host : Ross : Backup Host : Tom
Stint 7: Lobby A : Host : Mike : Backup Host : Adam
Stint 8: Lobby A : Host : Mike : Backup Host : Adam
Stint 9: Lobby A : Host : Adam : Backup Host : Ross
Stint 10: Lobby A : Host : Mike : Backup Host : Tom
Stint 11: Lobby A : Host : Tom: Backup Host : Ross
Stint 12: Lobby A : Host : Mike : Backup Host : Adam
So in case of Xbox Live having problem and Driver not getting invite from their lobby host ( even if the host send them the invite ) they will be able to look the table and see who the host is and join their game so no one will miss out of any stints.
I believe these two points can make the next TEC run more smoothly.
Your sincerely Callum

I'm done here. And if anyone tries to say that's because of the TORA Staff, you're stupid, and ignorant. They're a great group doing the best they can and I'm sorry the community has turned into this disgraceful, unappreciative mess.
Very few of you here deserve the kind of race you're complaining about not having. And to those who do, your patience, understanding, and constructive attitude is always appreciated and never forgotten.
I'm sorry for my responsibility in this. It just feels like there was a huge lack of professionalism in how everything was brought down, and I sincerely hope & believe we can improve on this for Sebring. I just may need to sign off for a bit.

For the most part, the race was great. We managed to keep it together, and the competition was fantastic. Congrats to everyone who made it to the end, it was fun.

Just the clear things up in a professional manner I'm going to explain exactly how things happened because many people don't fully understand how and why this occurred. I did not simply go backwards on the track because I didn't know where to enter as some people made it out to be. I was battling with an F4H car in third place and he made a very quick and clever move into the pits, knowing that I was paying little attention to my fuel. I immediately realized and decided to quickly turn around, go through the grass and enter the pit because I was not going to make it around another lap. Just trying to stay in the running for the race and not end up stuck on the track and be forced to retire. Yes, it was a major screw up by me. I lost a lot of time in the process and figured it was worth doing it... The penalty is final and there is nothing I can do about it any more. Still didn't agree with it and I know many others didn't either considering it was decided hours after the race had concluded and I didn't take out anyone in the process. I will take a break from TORA or probably not race in any of there events at all from this point on as I was displeased with how it was handled. It was a fun race that unfortunately had a horrible fallout and a celebrated victory that was taken away from my team. I look forward to racing multi-class with again with you guys and sorry for my initial reaction of the ruling earlier.

I have to say that I enjoyed the stints that I was in. Great battling and a lot of respect shown between the cars in the B Lobby.
Also a thank you to the lobby hosts, stewards and everyone else for organising the event. Bring on Sebring

Unfortunate for TLR and GripTek, but the rules are the rules. They can only come back stronger at Sebring. Good luck to all.

Re: MSA TORA Daytona 24H - General Discussion
Right guys, points to remember here:
1) This is the first 24h race this particular team at TORA has run. A lot of preparation and effort went into it. That being said, a lot was being asked of a few people to make sure it all ran well and we have guys on staff running all through the night and most of Sunday trying to make sure stints ran well and results got posted as soon as they could.
2) We said from the get go this would be a learning event and the lessons from this would go forward to Sebring and would improve the show for all.
3) Penalties have been issued on the grounds of driving in the wrong direction to gain access to the pit lane. Regardless of whether this is done on the grass or on the track it is dangerous and is an offense in virtual racing as much as in real racing. If you, by driver error or any other means, miss the pit in, you complete another map. That's the end of it. In my stint I did just that. I was in a small battle with another GT and totally forgot to pit. I had to ease the car round to make it in with next to no fuel left. That's racing. It's not easy and sometimes it's not fair. Would we allow that to happen in any other race series at TORA? No. Have we penalised drivers for driving the wrong way in the past? Yes we have.
4) It is unfortunate that the 'winner' was announced on Twitter before the penalties were added. As many will know, post-race decisions do often take place and as such results can be amended. That is the right of the Stewards Team along with the staff if evidence arises (and in this case the claimant has admitted guilt anyway) to make such amendments.
5) As regards time delay roll off - no that shouldn't have happened. The lobby set up information is clearly defined on the forums and all hosts should have paid notice to that thread. Again - as a learning process we can work out ways to make it even easier to host and administrate the races.
6) This was a long race and I have expressed my thanks to all who took part and thanked the hosts during stints. It is much appreciated. These events are not easy to run. There are countless variables and despite what some external people might say the team here did exceptionally well. To come on here this morning and see the snide remarks from people who ought to know better is a massive injustice to those who toiled away through the night either hosting, streaming, controlling the Live Timing or collating results. It is VERY easy to simply come along and race a car and then accuse all and sundry when it's not 'perfect'. I'd ask those people to think again and consider the huge time and effort that goes into setting these up. Have a little respect.
Thank being said, Sebring will be a fantastic event and I look forward to seeing you ALL there!

I'm willing to help with hosting lobbies etc for Sebring. I've done it before with TORA back on Forza 4, And also helped host endurance races with FLMS back in the day.
As a member of F4H said, There are members of the community willing to help if TORA ask

Fair play mate. I love endurance racing, So like I said I'm willing to help as well. Even if its just hosting or taking down lobby distances. Anything to help the event run smoother.
Would be great to get it close to how the F4H Pro Endurance event ran on Forza 5, As that 24 hour race ran like clockwork.

Re: MSA TORA Daytona 24H - General Discussion
Well, my first competitive online Forza race since Forza 4. I've caught the bug again after a few years out!
Despite the delays to lobbies (could have had a valuable extra hour in bed!) it was really enjoyable. Slightly disappointed not to make lobby A as i knew that our team had the pace over the long runs but just couldn't get the time in quali.
Still, the racing in Lobby B was fantastic. Had some really great battles notably CrashCaderz. Both pushing each other and it was like a sprint race between us until i got caught up in his accident at the bus stop and lost 4 laps due to it. I must say hats off to the GT guys, personally i thought that they all raced very well and were more than fair with the LMP guys.
Thanks to my team mates Louis, Aero, General and Rogue for providing such a great race car. Roll on Sebring!

Yer it was a good stint. Being able to go Flat out and battle with you for about 90% of the stint, was great, shame it ended like it did. But that really made up for the issues I had in my other 2 stints. Looking forward to the next event I do, whatever that one is
