TORA TEC Spa 12H - General Discussion

Sorry but i ran the Corvette quite alot this Season already, Watkins Glen both for TEC and VEC and ive used it for testing around other tracks, and im no where near the 15's yeah im not as quick as you Harmonic but i aint 1.5 seconds slower haha.

I've not played in 8 months and got a 16 with my own tune before AC came out. It wouldn't surprise me to see a 15 out of it.

If you tune the car aggressively enough, it will. Is it practical in a race? Of course not, but the car will do it. Regardless, nothing else in the field is capable of the time I've actually gotten so far in the Corvette. The Viper might come close, but after that, everything else is pretty far behind. The McLaren and M3 are good, but the Vette's on another level.

Again, it's too late to change, but I just thought I'd point it out since a couple of other people told me the same thing before I tested it myself.

It's not like it's doing a 15 every lap, Sam... Lol my average in it was about a 16.6.

i've done over 100 laps at spa in this car in the GT3 at TURN and tuning for this and i can get no where near a 15. I personally think the Corvette and Viper are close, thats just from my own experience from what i have had out of them.

Yeah sorry but there is no way. The vette is a good car yeah but you are taking the piss at this point man. 2:16.6 is pole speed pick the vette and let's see a 15 in qualifying please

Can we stop saying the vette has done 15s because no one has done that lap yet weather or not you have had the splits.

No one ever said it DID a 15. I said it CAN DO a 15.9.

I did a 16.4 in 3 laps, dude... It's not as hard as you think.

How about instead of trying to call me out when I've proven myself (does VEC Silverstone ring a bell, Frame?), try the other cars, compare them to the Corvette, and see if my claim that the Vette is much faster is true or not.

im not arguing on here about it i just saying because there is no way that car will do that time and now he car is being made out to be op like im sure the cars are very close because the car builders i would say spent there time into the cars and made sure they was close as they could get before opening this event but i wont carry on as i stated earlier im just saying have fun on track 😘👌🏼

I think you will find we have all spent way more time than 3 laps in each car. Vette and viper are close but we chose the vette for consistency. I can see box getting a mid 16 in the vette and we all know you aren't as fast as him. You act like we know nothing about these cars and that's disrespectful. Either way like you said qualifying has already begun. I didn't see these complaints when the car builds were first posted so if you wanted to make a change it should have happened sooner. What's said has been said and now it's time to prove things out on track

If I got a 16.4 that quickly in the Vette, box could easily do a 15.9 in it. He got 15.7 in the Viper at TURN with brakes and an extra tire, and he got DQed for track limits, so the fact you think this Viper is on par with the Vette at the same PI is ludicrous to say the least. It's on par with the M3 and McLaren, but the Vette is in another league. If you haven't hit a 16 in any other car besides those, you have no credibility on this matter.

I'm no staff member, but can we shut this down? I don't like to see name calling on the forums, something the staff members have been stern about.

Yes i clearly have no credibility on this! I clearly dont know what im talking about in GTs.

Considering I just got back online and did this on lap 3 of a new run with the only dirty spot coming from the exit of Turn 11, I'll let you decide what the car can do. I'm having Lightning run it as well, so I'll bring back those results in a bit.

Hey David,

I'm not here to say what you can or can't do because you're much faster than me but may I suggest this be brought offline and discussed in the development section? Ive told my guys to shush and this is turning into throwing stones. No fruits will be gained by posting publicly if you find a flaw or problem with the cars. Just bring it to the staff or internal team and they will deal with it accordingly I am sure.

Why don't we all just agree for everyone to run the Corvette and make it a spec race since 95.9% of the teams will be running one

i have done a 1:44.9 in the mercedes

Can we just not? Saturday the truth will be revealed, simple as that. It'll be another competitive race and this time I get to enjoy it from the commentary booth instead of the race track, which will be fun I am sure.

I ran a few laps last night, and all I can say is this: Screw all of you running sub 17s XD
