The CSR wheel is what I use. I bought it for the reason of having a wheel for 360 and PC too but I never liked how the wheel felt on Xbox. It just never felt comfortable to race with but that's my personal opinion. If you can, try and save a bit more money on the Elite pedals. They're load cell which means the braking feels a lot more realistic and is easier to know what will cause locking up.

What do you have i.e. pedals, wheel, stand, shifter etc?

I have the CSR Wheel, CSR Shifters, CSR Elite Pedals and an old GameRacer cockpit. You can buy the three CSR products to the left in a bundle for a cheaper price. I'm going to upgrade to a Clubsport when I can since I never use it for the 360.

Think I will go for the bundle with the wheel, elite pedals, and shifter and then get the stand as well. The advantage with my laptop is that I would be able to hook it up to my big TV and play it on there.

Since a new pc would take up much of my budget I won't be able to get a fanatec or logitech g27 wheel etc right away. Have you got any recommendations for cheaper wheels?

Hmm... The only one I can think of is a Logitech DFGT. They're a really good bargain for the quality you get and it's very popular. I think they go for around £120-£160

Never knew that :)It would be fun to have maybe a one off event with all the TORA lads. I know that CQR are doing well in the British Sim Racers BTCC and I think they race the UK&I Skip Barber Series. LMR have at least 2-3 people in the process of building PC's to make the jump over and we've got another 4 guys from iRacing who joined us. Most of LMR race the official series though like the iGPS or the GT3 Challenge.

I'd be more than happy to set-up the event. It's only about €3-4 for a big session. There is a bit of money to be made for leagues on iRacing. I know that the Enduro Pro Series has an entry fee and in turn has made up a $500 grand prize. Who knows, maybe TORA could be the place to race on iRacing in the future  Surprised

Yeah definately if we could get a few of us together a one off event would be great. I did try the BSR BTCC but I don't really like the KIA so I stop racing it. I'm just trying to get the next license so I can race something other than the Mazda.

@ Magic.
Nice to see you guys are kicking butt on Iracing, my mate Bradley Selmes (Might have heard him in BTCC) We go to college together and it was strange when he was describing a race he was in and the name Sutton and Laidler came up.

How quickly you get the required license to race GT3 cars like the RUF in official races depends on how many incidents you make during races. However you could join a hosted league where you only need a rookie license to race any of the available cars.

I believe it's $10 dollars but I'm probably wrong. However you don't need to set up a league to run your own races. It's $1 to host a session for 2 hours which can be whatever you want. A race, practice, qualifying or whatever.
