Just a quick note to everyone, make sure you have an Aclass car at 600pi saved to the leaderboards as it will show the time of your TCC car at 580pi otherwise......

The aim of phase 2 testing was to provide feedback and test times for the 33 cars, to help with balancing, particularly of FWD v RWD cars, rather than picking a car to use for the series

Please use the form on page 1 of this thread to enter times builds and comments. Please, those who were Phase 1 testers point your club mates to this thread and encourage them to fill in their times etc too.

The whole point of opening the testing team up to the whole of these clubs was to get a wide base of test data. So far we have times from 6 people. The group is open to 88 people.

If you...

a) don't follow the testing guidelines
b) don't take the opportunity to participate
c) keep your data secret

...you won't be invited to be in the testing group for future series as you're basically taking advantage of a free "head start" in pre-season testing without giving anything back in return.

I know it's only been open for a few days and it takes time to buy/build cars etc, so hopefully some times will start going in over the weekend, but I will be very disappointed if all the testing is done by "the usual few" who seem to "get it" and graft for the benefit of others who are apparently quite happy to abuse their good will.

I haven't got round to testing the cars yet but will do after I have set my GT car up for Catalunya.

Yup and it's not unfair. Instead of having to reach across a wheel to press two buttons I can press one which is essentially what you do on a controller by laying your finger across two buttons. I don't have that option on a wheel nor do I have the option to turn in or correct an input with the quarter inch flip of a thumb.

There is a reason Daveyskills, Dantastic, Takumi, etc shelved their wheels or didn't bother to have them repaired. The only person I know that improved with one was Champion and if memory serves he is still okay on a controller.

I have a Microsoft wheel so I have to press a button on the front of the wheel and the flap at the back

chris started to build set ups for cars last night seem to knock off a decent amount of time will crack on tonight once happy with the setups and post some times

Ill get on these when I can but im struggling for time as it is

I've fiddled with a few cars and a couple of CQR members have made tunes available.

However, I'm unlikely to have time until early next week to start posting decent data.........apparently there's some form of GT event on this weekend

Ill do times again tonight, might be able to find some free time.

I'm afraid I won't be able to get on until late tonight, but will catch up with you if you're still around.

Just got my Simcity weekend beta pass, which starts at 5. But I said I would do TCC testing which is more important...I guess

Did you read the EULA Richy? EA put some real nasty clauses in re: bug reporting!!!
