Agreed gents - added a more human element to the race starts and there were no start line issues in the numerous races we ran

They are pretty great, however RWD does have a large advantage off the line. The FWD cars seem to handle better however, so it kind of balances out. We respected each other tonight, but some newbies will make mistakes with it and try to be too aggressive.

how would the format be? all 3 races are formation laps with standing starts?

Yeah, I want to avoid rolling starts completely.

Shame I could only get the one race in before having to head off to work.

The practise start was fun and that Megane was a piece of cake to drive. I backed off a bit to get the hotlap in as I was getting a little lag from Chaddy and didn't want to wreck the car.

Should have a bit of time tomorrow to benchmark some more FWD times

Everytime Ive submitted using iphone theyve come out wrong or not at all -.-

I feel this should carry over to the GT sprint races, doing the whole warm up lap and grid starts.

when is the next date for a group test?

Cant put it in this season as its stated in the rules and would be silly to change during a season.

Maybe look at it for next season

Slightly off topic, but I'd like some feedback on these number box ideas. I was going for a WTCC/WRC feel, so the side ones will be mandatory underneath the front window and the roof one will be mandatory anywhere on the roof, alongside the window banner url. There is also one on the back which I may make mandatory. Numberboxes for once are relatively low layers, less than 100 anyway. Thoughts?

I quite like them, less intrusive on the paints

Could we have it so the number is under the wing mirror on both sides?

Example Right hand side "TORA TCC 20"

Left hand side "20 TORA TCC"

Not sure about the banner being halfway along the roof.

Perhaps for cars like the Scirocco that have the panoramic sunroof thing they would be better suited to having the banner across the top of the bonnet/below the windscreen?

I have shared my testing sheet for times so far with your googledrive Aero. There not the quickest but still some more data. I will keep it updated as and when i do more tests and builds.
