We talked about Forza Horizon in the latest Podcast and what I meant to bring up was whether or not there would be flashy lights at night?

from the gamespot interview with "The Bearded One", i would assume there will be as there is night time in Horizon. not sure yet if its MMO yet though, but i sure liked it in Test Drive Unlimited, but i dont think it'd be too bad. and just having your XBL friends show on the map would probably kill the aspect of finding new friends to cruise or have car meets with, and the like. i nearly racked up 30/40,000 miles in TDU1 by doing just that.

I never thought of that, I just kind of assumed it'd be MMO.

I used to go cruzin' wae lfcnicklfc back in the day.

If Horizon has proper hill climbing events like on CMR DiRT, then I want these in! Along with the SX4, obviously.

Forza Horizon pre-order details are out now, and apart from the usual special we get with FM CE editions you get an all new car in FM4.

I have to say though, very disappointed in the actual pre-order cars as they are all ones people will want and are very good cars.

Can't pre-order the LCE yet. I bet those see exclusive cars are a timed exclusive, available to buy later.

If you go to the 'buy' section it will show you which retailer will have which car. It's region specific, so the UK only shows Gamestation, GAME and Amazon. It also only has 3 cars, rather than the 5 there should be.

I'm not overly worried, those cars will no doubt come out as DLC within a few months of release.

Pain in the butt though :/ I reckon either the 458 or 370Z will be the top sellers. I'd hate to be the retailer with the Golf

I'm sure ShopTo will get one for UK buyers too, and they're my "go to guys". I wouldn't risk GAME/Gamestation these days, and Amazon's a perfect fallback if ShopTo don't get the LCE. I just hope it's not like FM4 again where ONLY GAME/Gamestation in the UK had the LCE, because that sucked balls.

So with the 5 cars or whatever it is, can u only pick 1 and can't get the others in game? Hope not, I love both the 458 and sls, if I can't get both that's just stupid!

Agreed - look at Mass Effect 3. I wanted the N7 Collectors edition but it was GAME exclusive (and about £80), then EA pulled their games and Shopto got the N7 for £65 I think it was - but I still missed out cos I had the regular edition already pre-ordered

Agreed Nicky! Don't even get me started on Forza 4 lol - buy the LCE (£60), Season Pass (£20) and then they have the cheek to release the pre-order car pack separately, just to get 3 extra cars out of a pack of 10 I've already got. grrrrrr

Anyway, Shopto.net have confirmed their Forza Horizon pre-order bonuses:

- 2010 Volkswagen Golf R (Shopto exclusive) and you also get the 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392

...Amazon it is then! I swear by ShopTo, but if it's a toss-up between the Aston and the Golf.....

If you're not fussed about getting the Limited Edition, or a pre-order car, I suggest pre-ordering from Argos today! I doubt this price will last long - £17.99!!
