So, first few races back and I gotta say, I'm enjoying it! GTs are awesome, ISCC is good and, TCC... Well, its not my favorite. I prefer cars with speed. Easier to handle. But the regs of TCC are FWD, slow and heavy. And I ended up with a 3 race warning because the only place on a corner filled track I could overtake was the corners and yes I had 4 wheels off the track and yes I hit him and went on but thats because its hard to overtake in a slow car. So anyway, on to GTs! I'm back in a Ferrari and I freaking love it! Love Ferraris! Alright I was in Lobby B and I'm not the fastest but the racing...

So, I decided to come back to TORA. What can I say? I missed you guys! First race back was the GTs. Awesome race! To see everyone fly past me on the straights, then to see me catch right back up in the corners! The 458 is simply amazing!!

Now on to the TCCs. Disaster. Absolute freaking disaster. Great start, caught up to 1st and 2nd, go to take my line, I get hit and spun out. Then race 2, I go off line to overtake someone (When I say offline, I mean I had 4 wheels off track to AVOID ACCIDENT WHILE OVERTAKING) only to rejoin the track and hit him. Know why? Well we are now well into the full swing of FM4. The days of Forza 3 have been forgotten by most. It served us well and was a great game, however Forza 4 is just amazing! Us here at TORA have well adapted to it and love it to pieces. The Ferrari 458 Challenge is proving to be fantastic! I can only make next weeks race due to F1 clashing with it, but I still look forward to it as I must say, the 458 is by far, my favorite car to drive on the game! Well, we are just finishing off Forza 4s first week. I may have only had it for 4 days but I am already level 29 and are high up in some leaderboards, like the Top Gear ones and a couple of others. I have never been this high on the boards and I believe its to do with the new game. The cars feel much better, the steering is much better, the TCS is more graceful, its not "Little-bit-of-horsepower-and-goodnight-to-you" TCS, its more "If-you-can-control-this-expect-a-reward" TCS! The whole game is just so amazing! So here some updates;

Well, I have been here for just over a year and can I just say that it has been an amazing experience! I started out as a guy who wanted to rely on his real life (I know you guys are real but I mean people I know personally) mates to join his team and have a great time, but that turned out bad. Twice! I started out in GT4 with the Lotus Exige and it was a great car. Once my mate left me, I had an offer still in the Exige and it was going ok, then he left me and I had to drag his team to finish. Not the best thing. But from then, I rebuilt my team with another mate who seemed interested then after...

So after deciding to enter TCC, I had an offer from Chaddy. Now at first I thought, "Nah I'll be fine on my own" then when he said he was running the Focus, the first car I had in mind, it all changed! So, we set up my car, painted it, then we got to testing. Chad already knew he could do low 1.01s, I was in the high 1.01s, around about 1.01.8xx. He said Ben (iZ Gundam) was running a bit slower then me, so I thought I would be in about B-C Lobby. So when it came to qualifying, I knew where I would stand, but, I concentrated well, and pulled out a 1.01.594, Chaddy, a 1.01.691. The shock we both...

Well, I knew I was going to miss the first race due to being away, it was then a decision wether to join the rest of the season or not! So, I have decided to join the TCC for the last 5 races! Now I know some of you are gonna say "Oh you can join the TCC on FORZA but don't wanna carry on with ISCC!?" Thats because ISCC was getting too much for me, and I am running GPWC which most of the time clashes with it! If I feel like I am getting there, then I may return for a race or 2 in the last few races! A few photos of the car will follow when I have the paint ready!

Hey guys, I have said about it a while back and we had a practice session with about 7 of us just messing around on DiRT3 and I think we all enjoyed it! And I have some interest in doing a championship. So, here is the introduction presentation! (too long to do a video, and I think this is pretty cool!) Enjoy!;

Well, these last few weeks have been very up and down. The only up for me being the GPWC. If I'm honest, Forza 3 has given me no incentive to play on it. Not even our ISCC championships. Reason being is cos I start the race knowing I'm gonna be about 7th in about D Lobby, while my team mates are up there in A lobby heading for 1st or 2nd. And when you are in a team like Austins who have won championships a few times, you feel as if your letting the team down. Then you hear your other team mate has left the team, you feel as if you need to buck up your skills. Thats why I am going to announce now...

Only a few weeks ago, Summer GT was announced, with cars. I knew then what car I wanted to go for. It is a car I really love. By a manafacturer who has been around for 64 years. They created my all time favourite car, named after their founder. The car I have chosen has been a first in many ways for their company. It's their first front mounted V8, first with a folding metal roof, first car with a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and their first with directly injected fuel. Packed with 450 prancing horses (stock), it's the Ferrari California.

So last Sunday saw the ISCC guys meet up at Catalunya, we got there knowing we would be far off the pace, and when qualifying started, we weren't wrong. As we got put into our race lobbys, we found out we was in the last lobby with the only 2 Austins Astons. So we could only battle for 5th or 6th. I started 6th and Adrian was 5th. First corner saw me overtake Adrian and I kept the lead all throughout the race. Not really an interesting race from where we was but there you go.

Sunday night saw a 12 strong race (2 lobby split) for the TORA GPWC. Hosted by myself and Connor (Special thanks to Keyzer Soze for hosting the faster lobby (me and Connor were too slow and didnt want to go up a lobby as it would be unfair) as our usual host couldn't make it. Qualifying saw me and Rob fall into the lower lobby, with Rob qualifying 1st and me, 4th. The race saw me get a clean start and got up to 3rd. By the 6th lap, VVV Grimm was catching me, and quick. Well, with the start of GPWC and the European Leg of ISCC, its time for a well needed update to my team news!

So, GPWC! As the last post said I had Chaddy in my team, but I decided that he is a better driver than me, so I decided to let him go and welcome someone who is more matched to my times! ECB Rob Moore is now my team mate! As recent testing for Malaysia will prove, we are so close on times! I flew around Malaysia in a 1.34.620 while Rob skimmed ahead by 0.023 seconds! He set a 1.34.597! But it werent only Malaysia where we was close, oh no! We had a go at a few other tracks and...

As some of you may know, Johnnyboy3600 has already signed up for GPWC with only a few weeks left til the first race, but he would like to welcome on board FranchittiFan (aka Chad) for the team in GPWC! I have discussed with Chaddy that I would like to run in the McLaren (yes I know its not gonna make any difference what so ever! But I LOVE McLaren) Really really looking forward to the GPWC as F1 2010 is a really great game with loads of new challenges to look forward to!

Well, it was a FANTASTIC result for me and the team (Austins Motorsport) which saw me coming 3rd overall, (yes! OVERALL!!) picking up some crucial points to take us into the next leg of ISCC! As for WGT last Sunday, it was an eventful race which saw me start on pole and ending up 3rd! On the 26th lap, I was under pressure from its troff and as I went to turn into the chicane before the last corner, I turned in too deep and hit the barrier! Troff flew into me aswell as he was so close and didnt expect that to happen

Well, it has been a great few days since the change over to Austins Motorsport and while I struggled with the new car at first, it didnt take me long to get back on track! (if you'll pardon the pun! DAN2605 in Austins Motorsport for the rest of WGT and ISCC!!! Will carry on NGTC as a privateer!

Dan to me has always been someone that has stood out from the rest! He does'nt want to be the best of the best, he just tries and is committed to his team, so to be joining him, is great for me and probably him (he doesnt know I said yes to the offer yet, although he probably does now ) So thank you very much Dan!!

Well, after 3 races overall, James has gone leaving me to go solo... I knew I should have got someone else or never started a team up cos last 2 times I've tried I get drivers who dont care about it, so this is my last call for a team mate before ISCC, I dont care about WGT and NGTC cos its already started and hopefully my points will get transferred and I only really want a team mate (or possibly two) for ISCC but I feel that may not happen as everyone is signed up and sorted but with TORA evergrowing, there may be the slightest chance!
